Natural Treasures: Treasure Chests - Enhancing your touring experience.

Our small group tours of no more than 12 guests have been designed to give people a more personalised experience in the regions we show them. Our small groups allow us to offer a high level of customer service as we strive to exceed expectations with our carefully chosen guides, itineraries, accommodation and restaurants. We are specialists in extended tours of the Great Ocean Road, Great Southern Touring Route and the Melbourne to Adelaide touring route. We also take our small groups on unique itineraries of Melbourne's famous and diverse 1-day tour destinations. As a small, personalised operator, if you do not find what you are looking for, let us know and we will happily arrange an experience to suit you.

Treasure Chests: Enhancing Your Touring Experience

We have based our tours around the principles of eco-tourism and try to offer a more rewarding and memorable experience than the standard sightseeing tour. While telling stories we reveal the contents of our Treasure Chests and pass around the artefacts and original written material which help explain the history and significance of the area. This interactive interpretation gives our guests a rare and unique perspective on the various regions travelled.

An example of our chests is the one we use at Loch Ard Gorge. The contents include a diary containing the accounts of Tom Pearce and Eva Charmicheal, the only survivors from the wreck. We also have some of the salvaged artefacts from the wreck as well as numerous photos. Another contains a piece of the 12 Apostles limestone, descriptions of the coastal erosion and aerial photos of the region.
